Area of Circular Tank

or, Area of Circular Tank
                                            = r2
                                                
Volume of Circular Tank=Area Of Circular Tank X Height Of Circular Tank

                                          = r2xH

Capacity of Circular Water Tank=Volume Of Circular Tank (In Cft) X 28.32

Remember 1 Cft of  Water Contains 28.32 Litres Of Water In It.

Calculate The Capacity of Circular Water Tank Having
Diameter=8 Feet
Radius=4 Feet
Height=6 Feet

Solution:

We Know


Area of Circular Tank
                                                = r2
                                                =3.14x4Feetx4Feet
                                                =50.42 Sft

Volume of Circular Tank=Area of Circular Tank X Height Of Circular Tank

                                              = r2xH
                                              =50.42 Sft X 6Feet
                                              =302.52 Cft

Capacity of Circular Water Tank=Volume Of Circular Tank (In Cft) X 28.32
                                                           =302.52x28.32
                                                           =8567.3664 Litres
                                                           =8568 Litres
